The State of Union is grim and we, the Congress and I, all to blame for that. So starting now, things are going to change.

Third, let's get down to business.
Our nation was founded with the adoption of our Constitution. If you take the time to read it, you will find that it is a wonderful powerful document. Oh, that right, you and I took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic. Unfortunately, until today we were the enemy.
Our Constitution delineated the rights of the people, powers of the Federal government and reserved all else to the individual states. Somewhere along the way, we all forgot about this. Each of you claims to carry a copy of the Constitution in your pocket. But have you read it? What about the Federalist papers, did you read those.
Too little emphasis and rhetoric is placed on politics. No emphasis is placed on the law of the land. That changes today.

Beginning right now, the job of this Congress is to fulfill the duties outlined in Article I of the Constitution. My job is to fulfill the duties outlined for me in Article II of the Constitution. The job of the justices of the Supreme Court is to fulfill the duties outlined in Article III of the Constitution.
Our Constitution created a system of checks and balances to any one branch of our government from becoming too powerful. We have not been diligent in using
these checks and as a result our government is corrupt.
The Job of the Congress is:
To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the Defence and general Welfare of our nation.
To borrow money on the credit of the United States;
To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;
To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;
To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;
To provide for the Punishment of counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States;
To establish Post Offices and Post Roads;
To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings
and Discoveries;
To constitute Tribunals inferior to the supreme Court;
To define and punish Piracies and Felonies committed on the high Seas, and Offenses against the Law of Nations;

These are a limited set of duties; my job will be to keep you within these boundaries. The Supreme Court will be the final check in the event we both fail.
So what does this mean? No more business as usual, The people have demanded a new sheriff and he just rode into town.
Let's take look at what you have been working on:
Health Care Reform - done - not going anything. Not in your purview.
Energy / Climate Control - done - not going anything. Not in your purview.
Stimulus - done - not in your purview. I am issuing an Executive Order demanding any unused funds be returned to the Treasury.
Bank & Business Bailouts - done - not in your purview. The Treasury will be instructed to recover these funds immediately.
So what's next? Beginning tomorrow the executive branch will begin a top down review of all government programs to determine the each programs constitutional mandate. The Tenth Amendment to Constitution states "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." If a program is not mandated it will be shut down, defunded on a reasonable schedule and returned to the responsibility of the states.
Within this review consideration will be given to the phrases "general welfare" and "regulate commerce among states" in Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution.
The phrase, “general Welfare” does not authorize Congress to enact any laws it claims are in the “general Welfare” of the United States. The phrase sets forth the requirement that all laws passed by Congress in Pursuance of the enumerated powers of the Constitution shall also be in the general Welfare of the United States. This was affirmed by James Madison when he wrote: “With respect to the words “general welfare,” I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers connected with them. To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its creators.”
The phrase "regulate commerce among states" only permits Congress to regulate trade among the states and does not permit Congress to regulate matters that merely affect commerce among the States.
Every department within the executive branch will complete this review within 15 days. All non-mandated programs will transitioned to the states within 6 months.
Yes, this means that thousands of government employees will lose their jobs. It is only fair, our current situation caused everyone to be threatened with job loss. Government jobs should be no different.
Yes, this means that some departments, education, energy and others will immediately go away. Our people demand it.
Even expenditures of foreign aid will be review. When our people are in need of relief, how can be giving relief to the world.
After shedding itself of all of these usurped responsibilities, our government will be leaner and agile. But our job will not yet be done. The days of the $800 dollar hammers must end. The executive branch will next undergo a top down review of every remaining budget item to determine the necessity and the cost effectiveness of the item. There will be no more waste. Each department will be asked to determine ways to cut spending.
The Congress should help in this process by providing fund only for constitutional purposes. I will do my part by vetoing any spending bill that contains provisions are not constitutionally mandated. While the Congress does have the power to override my veto, I have and will use the power to sue over the constitutionality of any vetoed provision.
The days of 1,000 or 2,000 pages bills are over. The people have spoken. My admonition to you is "keep it simple" and read it before you vote on it. One "shall" or "must", out of place, will cause a bill to be vetoed. I promise to the people, that I will read and understand every bill before I sign it into law. If it takes me 40 days to read and understand a bill it will sit on my desk for 40 days.
Today, our national debt stops growing. As reduce spending, we must begin to pay off our debt. The best way to accomplish this will be to revamp are tax system. So today, I ask the Congress to appoint a commission to determine a fair and uniform method of taxation and to report to me the results of this commission before the end of the year. This method of taxation must be constitutional, as the people are only legally obligated to pay taxes for unconstitutional purposes.
Once a revised system of taxation is place, the Congress will be asked to set a tax rate that will pay for all expenditures in the budget year that they occur and to pay 5% of the debt. No more deficits. The people can't live on IOU's. As a government we can't either.
These changes will bring about economic recovery, but we can't stop there. The Federal Reserve Bank is a beast out of control, working in secret. It controls our economy. I ask the Congress to establish a commission that will "Audit of the Fed", determine if our "fiat" currency is constitutional and in our nations interest. If this audit shows corruption, influence pedaling and illegally activity, then the Federal Reserve System should be disbanded.
We have a great deal of work ahead of us. Let's get to work. The American people are watching. I am watching and will be reporting the results of our work directly to the people. Good luck, God Bless, we are the hope of our nation. God Bless the united States of America."

Therefore, do you commit to support the elimination of restrictions on GAO audits of the Federal Reserve; and to mandate ongoing annual audits of the Federal Reserve?

American individuals and/or businesses via any attempts to control or mandate the editorial content of radio and television programs?

The History of the Present Government – including the Executive, Legislative, Judicial, and the unelected and unconstitutional fourth branch of government, the bureaucracy – is a history of repeated injuring and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over the citizens.
The Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights as envisioned and structured by the founding fathers have been declared null and void by Acts of Congress, the bureaucracy, and the courts. Many courts have banned the reading of or any reference to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights in courtroom litigation. The courts are endorsing and supporting the unelected bureaucracies at virtually every level.
The courts have returned to the Star Chamber and have assumed a role of self-appointed sovereign supremacy and thus have become tyrannical and despotic in their actions by ignoring the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights while protecting themselves with a self-imposed cloak of so-called sovereign immunity. The courts have assumed a legislative role and are imposing upon the citizens "judicial legislation" based upon so-called "public policy" and "overriding government interest" that violates the very Constitution they have sworn to uphold. The Supreme Court of the United States has decreed that justice will be meted out in light of current public sentiment and without regard to Divine absolutes. The Supreme Court of the United States has assumed a self-imposed role of deity and authorized the murder of millions of babies by way of abortion since 1973. Citizens are forced to pay for the murder of babies by way of tax-funded abortion in violation of their religious convictions.
Citizens are forced to pay for a humanistic public educational system that is anti-God, anti-Christ, anti-Bible, anti-family, anti-American, and anti-Constitutional through taxation in violation of their religious convictions. Congress, legislatures, and the courts have combined with the bureaucracies to subject the citizens to a jurisdiction foreign to our Constitution and the Bill of Rights and unacknowledged by the founding fathers. Our government has formed a multitude of new bureaucratic offices that send swarms of officers across America to harass the citizens and eat out their substance. The bureaucrats have become a standing army that wages war against the citizens and invades the privacy and security of the citizens in their persons, houses, papers, effects, businesses, families, and religion. The coinage of gold and silver has been unlawfully suspended in violation of Article 1, Section 8, Clause 5, and Article 1, Section 10, Clause 1 of the Constitution of the United States by Executive Order, Acts of Congress, and Judicial Rulings; and the circulation medium of exchange has been replaced with irredeemable paper currency called Federal Reserve Notes. The monetary policy of America is controlled by a privately-owed, secretly-operated corporation: the Federal Reserve System. Government contrived and controlled inflation is destroying America and the hopes of our children and grandchildren of ever owning homes or land of their own. Taxes are imposed upon us without our consent. The oppressive boot of the communist-designed graduated income tax grinds more and more heavily on our necks and is destroying the producers of America. The Internal Revenue Service is enforcing social and public policy rules and regulations of its own design and formulation in violation of the Constitutional principle of separation of powers. The Internal Revenue Service regularly resorts to Gestapo-like tactics in the collection of "taxes"; this strategy has reduced the majority of our citizens to the fearful and whimpering state of common slaves. Churches have been unlawfully brought under the jurisdiction and control of government by Congress, the President, the Supreme Court of the United States, State Legislatures, and the unelected bureaucracies. Churches are required to have federal tax identification numbers and to collect and pay social security taxes in violation of their religious convictions. Congress, with few exceptions, has abdicated its Constitutional function by failing to guard against the erosion and destruction of the rights, privileges, and liberties of the citizens and by passing legislation that violates the letter and spirit of the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights.
In Every State of These Oppressions, we have warned time and time again of the unwarranted jurisdiction which these acts extend over us and have petitioned for redress in the most humble terms; our petitions have been answered only by a deaf ear and repeated injury.
Let It Be Known That We, the People, stand in recognition of the true principle that whenever a government abandons the purpose for which we have created it and even becomes hostile towards that which it was once a defender of, it is no longer a fit steward of the political power that is inherent in the people and lent to this government with strict conditions. These conditions are clearly defined in the United States Constitution and understood by the common man.
Furthermore, to the extent that our government violates these conditions, they nullify their own authority, at which point it is our right and duty, not as subjects but as sovereign Americans, to entrust this power to new stewards who will not depart from the laws we have given them.
This being the case, let it be known that should our government seek to further impose on our rights, thus impairing our ability to exercise our God-given rights which precedes all human legislation and is superior to it, that the duty of us good and faithful people will not be to obey them but to re-institute lawful government founded and organized to effect our safety and happiness.
Finally, For the Support of this Declaration, we mutually pledge to our God, to each other, and to our posterity: our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.
]]>I have come to the understanding that our current two-party system is broken. The candidates for both of the parties lie through their teeth and promise anything they can to get elected (or re-elected). Once the election is over, business as usual is the theme. They represent only their own interests.
Realizing that change is necessary and seeing that the Republicans were no different than the Democrats, I bolted from the Republican party and tried to push for change. I was an independent candidate for President of the United States in 2000 and again in the early part of the 2004 election cycle. While these campaigns gained ground through use of the internet, they failed to raise the kind of money needed to battle the political machine.
In mid 2004, my focus switched gears, and I began an independent campaign for Kansas Third Congressional Seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. I filled the empty ballot slot for the Kansas Libertarian Party.

Additionally, in 2004 I was involved with the American Patriot Party and the state party in Kansas. I served as the National Vice Chairman of the American Patriot Party and Chairman of the Kansas Patriot Party. My role in building these organizations included:
Political in-fighting led to the demise of this party. The American Patriot Party has been reorganized in several states and is attempting a come-back.
After watching the political landscape and hoping to see promising change, I realized it was not going to happen within the two-party system. I joined the Libertarian Party of Kansas in 2008 and ran for Kansas Third District Congressional seat. I received more than 3 times as many votes as I did in 2004.
Since the 2008 election, I have been active in the tea party and 912 movements, as well exploring another independent campaign for KS 03.
I am a strong advocate for the use of new media (Internet) in political activity and campaigns.

]]>Beginning at a young age, they taught the girls the values: charity, courage, gratitude, honesty, hope, humility, moderation, respect, responsibility, sincerity, thrift and work. These life lessons were given with love and compassion.
The girls embraced these values with open arms and grew to become beautiful vibrant young ladies. As life would have it, a day came when the daughters announced that they were ready to go out on their own. They had decided to go in separate directions - taking the values learned - and make their own mark on the world.
Summer headed west, Autumn east, and Winter stayed near home. On their own they begin to get a taste of the world. After a while, they each met a man, fell in love and looked forward to marriage. Before their weddings, the girls queried of their beloveds, each man's feeling regarding the values they were raised upon.
Summer's young man agreed that the values were nice and sounded good, but he indicated more fun could be had if the values were ignored. Summer was conflicted, but love and lust overcame the value decision. She and her young man were married and began their lives together. Together they set out to live the life of free spirits without responsibilities.
Together they begged, cheated, lied and stole to survive. As times became worse and the need for money greater, Summer was given by her husband to other men for their pleasure.
Eventually, Summer’s husband grew tired of her, and in a fit of rage he beat her and left her to die. In a single gasp, Summer’s life had ended. The man and his wife never heard from Summer again.
On the other hand, Autumn’s young man embraced and declared his support for the values held dear to her heart. Proud Autumn called home and told the man and his wife about the nice man and their decision to be wed. Autumn and her husband began their life together and set to make a mark on the world.
Autumn’s husband got a job working for a powerful firm that provided them a good income. Autumn thought life was good. Then there was a dire change.
Autumn’s husband began to ignore the values she revered. Unexplained sums of money were found hidden in the home. Mysterious phone calls were received in the middle of night. Meetings were held with people unknown to her. She found lipstick on his shirt collar.
Autumn confronted her husband; he denied any wrong doing. He said “You enjoy the benefits of my work. I do what I have to do to keep my job.” Autumn agreed and dismissed her concerns.
Later, Autumn awoke one morning feeling ill. She went to the doctor. After the examination, the doctor told her she had been poisoned. Autumn was aghast. Questions raced through her mind. How? When? Where? Who? The doctor told her the poison had been placed in her food and that the tampering had occurred over a long period of time.
Not knowing what to do, Autumn called the man and his wife to seek counsel. Autumn was told by those that loved her: to leave her husband and never see him again. Autumn argued with justifications for keeping her husband.
Not satisfied with the opinion of the man and his wife, Autumn sought out the opinions of her friends. Each of them counseled that her husband was good, perhaps just misdirected, and if confronted he would return to the values Autumn cherished. Not thinking, Autumn failed to realize that her friends were her husband’s friends.
Once again Autumn confronted her husband, and once again he denied any wrongdoing and said the he lives the same values. Autumn again gave in and accepted his explanations. Autumn did not know that her husband was actually lying about everything.
After a while Autumn sensed things were still not right and began to investigate. She found that her husband had been lying to her. She confronted him once again. This time he grew angry, said he was growing tired of her accusations, beat her violently, and left her for dead. In a single gasp, Autumn’s life had ended. The man and his wife never heard from Autumn again.
Winter’s young man, from a young age had been taught by his parents with love and compassion the values: charity, courage, gratitude, honesty, hope, humility, moderation, respect, responsibility, sincerity, thrift and work; he shared the values Winter held dear to her heart. Winter returned home with her young man. The young man met the man and his wife, asked for the hand of Winter in marriage, and received their blessing.
Winter and her husband lived a long prosperous live, while holding strong to the values: charity, courage, gratitude, honesty, hope, humility, moderation, respect, responsibility, sincerity, thrift and work. They too were blessed with the birth of triplet daughters. The man and his wife enjoyed seeing their daughter become a wonderful mother.
The questions left by this story are "Why?" and "Is this truly a parable?"
