Joe Bellis - My response to President's State of the UNion Address"

I have given thought to how to respond the President's State of the Union address last night. There was so much wrong with that I just can't comment. I can only say that this is the speech The President should have given last night.

"Madame Speaker, Vice President Biden, members of Congress, justices of the Supreme Court, distinguished guests, and fellow Americans, good evening:

Our Constitution declares that I shall from time to time give the Congress information of the State of the Union and recommend for their consideration such measures I shall judge necessary and expedient. It is this event that brings us together tonight.

The State of Union is grim and we, the Congress and I, all to blame for that. So starting now, things are going to change.

First, stop with the applause. Our nation is suffering and doesn't want hear your applause.

Secondly, sit down, listen and open your minds, as you are about to hear concepts never before made from this podium.

Third, let's get down to business.

From the Independence Caucus. I answered yes to all 80 of the candidate vetting questions. The Independence Caucus will only endorse main party (Democrat or Republican) candidates, even if a better independent candidate is running.

The time for fence sitting is past. You are either in favor of minimal government and maximum personal freedom, or not. You are either ready to stop giving away half of your earnings, or not. You are either ready to stand up and be counted, or not. The time to vote for your liberty is now. It is time to vote your wallet.

Who is Joe Bellis?

My name is Joe Bellis; I am a 32 year resident of the state of Kansas. I have been interested in politics since I was a teenager. My journey through the political spectrum has been guided by the insight of many great leaders. I have taken the conviction of Goldwater, the candor of Truman and the values of Reagan to develop a political philosophy that is unique in today's political landscape.

I have come to the understanding that our current two-party system is broken. The candidates for both of the parties lie through their teeth and promise anything they can to get elected (or re-elected). Once the election is over, business as usual is the theme. They represent only their own interests.

Continuing The Campaign For Liberty

As a means to help more Americans understand the need for the message Ron Paul has been delivering, read the letter at http://www.ronpaulreferendum.net/node/7. All Americans who are for the preservation of our American way of life and the continued celebration of our independence and Constitution need to consider our present loss and direction. We all need to understand that the liberties we are losing are not due to the actions of any foreign enemy. We need to stand up and support the message that Ron Paul has been delivering as the standard of values that America needs to be united in, the standard by which to judge all other candidates.

Norma McCorvey (Jane Roe) of Roe Abortion Case Endorses Ron Paul for President

McCorvey is now pro-life and she says Ron Paul is the best candidate to make sure abortion is no more.

McCorvey runs Crossing Over Ministry and is a frequent speaker across the country on pro-life issues.

“Ron Paul states, ‘The right of an innocent, unborn child to life is at the heart of the American ideals of liberty.’ I support Ron Paul for president because we share the same goal, that of overturning Roe v Wade," McCorvey said Tuesday.

"Ron Paul doesn't just talk about being pro-life, he acts on it. His voting record truly is impeccable and he undoubtedly understands our constitutional republic and the inalienable right to life for all," McCorvey added.

Topeka Ron Paul Meetup 7/08/2007 Meeting

Four of us met in Topeka, KS, on Sunday, 7/08/2007.

How do we add to the number that are involved in the effort to spread the word about Ron Paul? By talking to as many people as we can about Ron Paul. Some of these people will recognize the chance for political reform along Constitutional and moral principles that is Ron Paul's presidential campaign.

1. Reach people via door-to-door, with walking lists, to leave door-hangers, and to offer other info, like push-cards and DVDs.

2. Bring material to gatherings of people, including farmers' markets, with general material and any more specific material (like issues related to farming and ranching).

3. Look at local printing of color flyers in bulk. Look at possibility of getting a color laser-printer.

Flyer - Jason Littlejohn - Reform Issues

So Whats so different about us REFORM people...

For far too long, those who have been fortunate enough to find themselves with the responsibility of being our representatives have often times grown accustomed to their appointments and often times have found that it is far better for themselves to keep a low profile and support positions that, unfortunately, ignore pressing issues of concern. As a Kansan and an American I have noticed many developments that are occuring all around us that are troubling both on a State wide and a National level. One of the true joy's in my life is my hobby as a journalist. For many years it has been my goal in life to expose problems and offer solutions. I believe that a wise thing to do is to interview people who have had success with various problems and then listen to those who have "been there and done that" .
I believe this process has been circumvented for a long time by a motivation to retain office at any cost. I want to break that mold.

Leslie Martin - Reform Candidate for KS State Representative, 61st District

Leslie Martin, Reform Candidate for KS State Representative, 61st District

Leslie Martin is a strong proponent of traditional family values. She is pro-life and against embryonic stem-cell research.

Leslie is particularly concerned about the National Animal Identification System, which forces RF-ID tagging of all livestock and even the tracking of their feed, and which Congress has scheduled to become mandatory in all states by 2009.

NAIS will be the final destruction of the small family farms and ranches, since it will add crushing expenses, regulations, and fines to their already high costs of staying in business. As more and more local farms and ranches shut down, to the delight of the multi-national "Big-Beef"/"Big-Bird" companies (like Cargill, ADM, and Tyson), our food quality will diminish from the reduced competition.

Do you Eat?! Then you should be against NAIS!

Vote for Leslie Martin for Kansas State Representative, District #61.

Sylvester Cain - Kansas Reform Candidate for U.S. Congress, 1st District

Sylvester has worked behind the scenes in the tax honesty movement in various groups helping the general public understand the Internal Revenue Code and the administration thereof. He has done this in one capacity or another since 1960. Sylvester has learned that many of the early ideas of “how-to” understand the code has had to change with the broadening of his education on the subject. The advent of the computer and the internet enhanced this work greatly. No longer was there a need to have meeting late into the night miles and miles from home, no longer a need to make trips to the law library; all that is needed now is e-mail and the Internet websites.
