It is already difficult to deal with the increased prices of feed. Grain has just jumped 50 cents a sack due to corn shortage. I found out that corn is being used for production of ethanol, and thats what is causing the increase. The Oct. 2006 issue of Consumer Reports E85 tests show you'll get cleaner emissions but poorer fuel economy, IF you can find it. E85 is 85% ethanol, and is hard to find outside the Midwest.

It appears that the government is delivering a one two punch to livestock breeders. First, the RFID's and by grabbing up most of the corn for ethanol. What is next? I'm afraid to find out.
