In the column, I referred to Alan Stang's book "Not Holier Than Thou," in which he points out that President Bush has appointed numerous known homosexuals to high public office, just as did his predecessor, Bill Clinton. I included in that list former Massachusetts Governor Paul Cellucci, who was appointed as U.S. Ambassador to Canada. I misquoted Alan Stang in that statement. Cellucci is not homosexual. However, his record as governor is extremely "pro-homosexual," which is the way I should have worded it. I apologize for the error.
